About Body Mechanics
Providing Personalized, Whole-Body Approach To Physical Therapy Since 1996
Our team provides physical therapy treatment in downtown Milwaukee and Pewaukee, Wisconsin
Your care will be provided by some of the area’s most highly-trained, board-certified physical therapists who continually advance their skills to provide you with the latest treatment options. In fact, therapists from Body Mechanics often teach and care for other Milwaukee physical therapists in the community and have developed a reputation for expertise among our industry peers.
We work to pair you with the best physical therapist for your specific needs to maximize your outcomes and get you better faster.
Since 1996, Body Mechanics has distinguished itself with one-on-one personalized care
Compared to other physical therapy clinics that see multiple patients at one time, leaving you unattended on a variety of machines and devices, we take a different approach. From the moment you first contact us, you’ll receive careful, individual attention. You’ll meet with the same therapist each time during a 30-60 minute session. Our focused attention allows us to achieve better results in fewer appointments because we accomplish more during each appointment.
You’ll feel listened to and respected and have a steady guide on your road to full physical recovery.
We exist to provide hope and a path to success for our clients to feel better, stay active, and optimize their potential.
Our Core Values
Optimistic
We believe that every client can improve their situation and that we have the knowledge, training, skills, and experience to help them do so. We start every plan of care with optimism and intention for success. Patients have taught us that they have potential beyond conventional expectations.
Confident
We believe our work is effective and valuable to our clients and their overall health and well-being. Our methods are unique and fill a gap that exists in healthcare for being cost-effective and empowering to our clients.
Committed
We apply all the resources, knowledge, and skill we can to help our patients improve, including other members of our team and like-minded partners in the health care community.

Where Did Gregg Go?
After 25 years of dedicated service at Body Mechanics, Gregg Fuhrman retired at the end of 2024. His commitment to our patients and passion for physical therapy have made a lasting impact on our community, and he will be greatly missed. Our Pewaukee clinic has a team of skilled physical therapists who are always accepting new patients and eager to provide the same level of care and support that Gregg exemplified throughout his tenure.
